Public Art: Points of View
1–15 Phillip Street Singapore
Points of View is part of a series by one of the world's foremost sculptor, artist Anthony Cragg from UK. This 10 meters sculpture made of bronze consists of two stacks of squashed shapes.
With an infectious sense of fun, this towering pair surges and ‘shape-shifts’ depending on our points of view. To some, they appear as strata layers, stacked precariously in a wondrous balancing act. To others, they suggest side-profiles of human noses, chins and foreheads, whipped by the wind and speed of the city.
