Public Art: Progress And Advancement

A detailed Central Business District by the Singapore river, this 4m tall sculpture signifies the progress and advancement of Singapore’s financial district. The overall shape for this structure is a ship, which symbolises vitality and strength.

Elements of the sculpture include historic landmarks, skyscrapers, boats and ships of the early settlers, olden day huts and people figurines.
